Announcements

Pastor Douglass will be attending the Bishop’s Convocation Monday through Wednesday of this week.  If there are any pastoral emergencies during this time, please contact Father Bob McKay.      

Men's Dinner . . . Monday, September 29 at 6:00 PM.  at the Keller home.  Sign up sheet is on the bulletin board.  If you need directions, please contact the Kellers.

Adult Fellowship will meet on Tuesday, September 30 at 6:00 PM.

Stress boxes for our college and military members are available in the narthex.   There are different options to participate in this ministry:  fill a stress box(es), donate items from the stress box list (available on the table), or a financial contribution toward purchase of items.  Please help as you are able because we have many boxes to fill for our college students and military members. 

Sunday, October 5 is Blanket Sunday .  $5 will buy a sturdy blanket.  An envelope for Blanket Sunday will be included in the October Chatter.  Financial contributions will be accepted the entire month of October.

Calling all scrapbook/card makers . . . There will be a scrapbook/card making session here at Christ Lutheran on October 11 from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM. with presentations from Laurel Shields from “Close to My Heart.”  Come all day or part of the day.  Child care will be offered for at least the morning session.  More information will be in the October Chatter. 

 
College Student Addresses Needed!   Parents of college students, please let the church office know of the college address of your youth.  Thank you!

Altar Flowers . . . There are several Sundays in October and December available for altar flowers.  The flower book is located on the table in the narthex. 

Food Pantry Items   for September are spaghetti and/or spaghetti sauce.  Items for October are canned pumpkin and/or creamed or whole kernel corn.
