Catechism classes are held on various Sunday evenings from 6:00-7:30 PM at Christ Lutheran throughout the school year. These classes are a DACLM ministry, taught by Rev. Douglass and Rev. Ramsey, and occasionally by Deanne Armagost. Catechism is for students in 6th, 7th & 8th grade. Following an opening game and teaching time, the students divide into small groups for discussion which are led by catechism guides. Catechism guides are parents or other adults who serve also as another faith model for students. The youth also participate in service projects and serve as acolytes on Sunday morning as part of their catechism curriculum. Upon completion of the three-year program, the youth affirm their baptism on Pentecost.
